Then join us at Camp Daggett for a weekend to remembers. Fathers, stepfathers, grandfathers or "big brothers" - bring your sons (ages 7-14) for a fun filled Father & Son Weekend at Camp Daggett.
Dates: March 5-7, 2010
Location: Camp Daggett Lodge on beautiful Walloon Lake
Cost: $150 for Father & Son plus $50 for each additional son
Space is limited a registration is on a first come first serve basis.
Participants can expect a weekend of fun and adventure as they try their hand at various outdoor activities. After a long day of excitement, look forward to wild game lunches and dinners in front of the lodge fireplace. Menu items include venison, rabbit, quail, turutle and buffalo. (PB&J and hot dogs available upon request.)
Tentative activities include wildlife seminars, taxidermy demos, maple syrup production, snowshoeing, fly tying instruction, DNR led ice fishing (no license required), 1700s period camping and tracking demos, rock climing and high ropes course activities and much more!
Camp Daggett respectfully asks all participants to leave unnecessary electronices (i.e. video games, iPods, cell phones, computers, etc.) at home for the weekend and enjoy the Father & Son weekend without distraction.
